PleasureHorse.com would like extend a warm welcome to our latest business advertising partner, the Horseman’s Quarter Horse Association (HQHA)!

Horseman’s Quarter Horse Association is based in Central Georgia, with all shows held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry, GA.  They offer Open, Amateur, Novice Amateur, Select Amateur, Youth, Novice Youth and Small Fry Divisions. You can show it all with HQHA, classes offered are halter, showmanship, hunter under saddle, hunt seat equitation, hunter hack, western pleasure, western horsemanship, trail, reining, western riding, barrel racing, and pole bending. 

Throughout the year at shows, they host exhibitor’s parties, pot luck dinners, ice cream socials, free coffee and donuts every morning, and team tournaments.  Membership includes year-end awards and the chance for Youth to represent the association in the NYATT at the Congress.  Check out their Facebook page for the latest info!

HQHA will be hosting a show September 19-22 with five judges: Thursday/Friday: Sissy Anderson and John Dean; Saturday/Sunday: Wayne Holt, Larry Little, and Allen Watson.  Three of the judges are also 2013 Congress judges: Sissy Anderson, John Dean, and Larry Little! Thursday has an afternoon start time of 3 pm with only trail, Friday/Saturday/Sunday start at 8:30 am.

Show bill will be available coming soon. There will also be added prizes throughout the show in addition to Hi Point awards, and Circuit Awards in all classes.  We will be offering Open and Amateur Weanling Halter classes as well. Keep checking back in for more info!
