A big congratulations goes out to Champions Snap Krackle Pop and Rusty Green! The pair took home the win at Saturday’s Equine Sports Medicine 2 Year Old Western Pleasure Challenge at the Reichert Celebration. Nineteen entries and two splits, with some impressive rides, culminated in Green and the gray mare taking home the title, a check for $50,000, a breeding to Born To Be Blazing, and lots of other amazing prizes.
Judging the class were Brett A Clark, Bob Kail, Deborah Kail, John Boxell. Green and Snap Krackle Pop placed first under three of the four.
Taking a very close Reserve Championship were Jay Starnes and VS Flatline, and coming in third Carl Yamber and A Good Touch.
Along with the amazing fireworks, performance of the national anthem, and the Kiefer horse trailer give-a-way during the evening, a lucky winner found the SR Gold $2500 horseshoe ring in her warm cinnamon roll – proceeds benefitting the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
