The 2014 All American Quarter Horse Congress has kicked off and will run its typical 3+ week schedule, maintaining its title as “The largest single-breed horse show in the world.”  With over 21,000 entries, attracting more than 650,000 people to the Columbus area, the show generates $200 million for the central Ohio economy.  Attendees come from every US state, and several foreign countries.  Nearly $3 million is given away in cash and prizes, including trucks and trailers, trophy saddles, and sterling silver buckles.

Along with classes and events that have been showcased at the Congress for many years, this year new classes have also been added:  RFD’s The American Rodeo qualifier event for roping, all classes in the Small Fry division and all divisions of the Ranch Horse Pleasure.
