Regretfully, we post this note from Abbe Wagenblast: "It is with much sorrow that Coosa Lad, better known as Sherman, was laid to rest on 8/17/08 due to complications of an abscess. He was one of the sweetest, kindest stallions one could ever hope to have - a great one that comes along once in a lifetime. We were lucky to have him for 6 incredibly short years. He was an honor to be around. He had the heart of a champion, and although he was never shown, he has left his mark in the horse world with numerous, well known progeny, in many different countries, in the AQHA, APHA, ApHC and PHBA. May he forever live through his offspring and in our hearts…..on to the great green pastures that await you my friend and may you always find peace."

Congratulations
to youth rider: Tiffani MacDonald from Aubrey, Texas. Tiffani
has been competing through the ranks with great success through her
dedication and love of horses. She attributes her many victories to
the quality of horses and guidance she has received over the years with
the top trainers in the industry. Nancy Sue Ryan whom was quoted as
saying, "Tiffani's calming personality and compassion for the horses
makes her a pleasure to work with. Along with her abilty to show confidently
at all levels... its almost like having ice water in her veins. Remaining
steady in every situation makes her the fierce competitor she is". Tina
Kaven, whom Tiffani is currently showing with, says, "I love working
with Tiffani. I feel that we work hard together as a team, and she has
all of the talent and dedication to be the best. Not only does she have
a great feel and a great work ethic, but she is a really kind and considerate
person. I foresee a great future for Tiffani not only with the horses,
but with life!" We wish Tiffani MacDonald the best of luck in the Youth
World and NSBA Hunter Under Saddle classes this year, riding the fabulous
