Decorated all-around mount Clover Bars Image died March 2.

The 1982 gelding was a true testament to the versatility of the American Quarter Horse, having earned more than 3,150 AQHA performance points in hunter classes, western riding, horsemanship and trail. Together with owner Beth Ann Lee-Floersch, Clover Bars Image earned the coveted all-around amateur title at the 1998 AQHA World Championship Show; he was 16 years old at the time.

In November 2011, The American Quarter Horse Journal featured Clover Bar Image’s tale in an edition of “Great Rides,” because for “Boo” and Beth Ann there were many.

  1. Beth Ann,

I remember the first time that I met You and Boo in Upstate New York. You two were the epitome of “poetry in motion” going through those hunter over fence classes, and little did you know, I used to watch You and Boo in awe.

How very fortunate that Boo jumped into your life! You two were a formidible force to deal with on the AQHA Circuit. You truly did have a good ride!

  2. Hey Beth, I just read the AQHA article and it brought tears to my eyes. You had a GREAT ride! We’ve always admired you and your horses … so happy you had Boo for so long but so very sorry for your loss. Just had to say it again. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. Beth,
So so sorry about Boo I know how hard it is to loose your special horse. I loved saying he visited my barn when you were in town. Hope you are doing well and if you are in Danville come see us we are still at the same place.
