The qualifying points have lowered for the Zoetis Versatility Ranch Horse AQHA World Championships, and qualifying ends December 31. The Zoetis VRH World is March 19-21, 2015, in Houston.

The qualifying points have been lowered to:

  • Open (senior horses) – 1 point
  • Open (junior horses) 0.5 point
  • Amateur – 0.5 point
  • Or must have shown in three VRH-approved shows.

The qualifying points had previously been 4 points for open and 1 point for amateur.

“After examining this year’s show entries, number of qualifiers and past entries of the Zoetis VRH World, the AQHA Show Council approved the recommendation this fall to lower the qualifying points, and that decision was supported by the AQHA Executive Committee,” said AQHA Executive Director of Shows and Judges Pete Kyle.
