Pinto World Show Update: Amateur Versatility Class Winner Kaity Arthur!
One of the most exciting classes of any show is the Versatility class, a fast paced and true test of what a horse and rider team can accomplish. It often includes an english, western, and speed event, as well as a halter event, where the rider has a team of 2 “grooms” who change the horse’s tack while the rider changes their outfit right in the middle of the pen in the allotted time. A major congratulations go to Kaity Arthur and All Time Fancy Man, who won the amateur Versatility Class on June 14th! They took first in Barrels, Halter and Hunter Under Saddle and 3rd in Western Pleasure. The pair won a Dale Chavez Saddle and $675 dollars.
Second place went to Anie Ittner and Fleets Sweet Dreams, who actually know the winner quite well. Anjie and Kaity went to high school together! Both girls live in Midland, MI. Anjie’s team had “World Champion” grooms with trainer Mark Smith and father Tom Ittner.
