Ford Youth World Is Underway
Exhibitors at the 2016 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show have shined their boots and dusted off their hats for the first day of competition in Oklahoma City. Classes began at 8 a.m. in the Jim Norick Arena at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds with finals in performance halter mares.
“We are excited to see the hard work and dedication these youth members have put in for the Ford Youth World,” said Craig Huffhines, AQHA executive vice president. “AQHA wishes everyone the best of luck and looks forward to a great week!”
The Ford Youth World has a variety of events and activities for competitors, friends, family and spectators to take part in throughout the show. The Merial AQHYA Judging Contest, college fair, speech contests, fashion show and Nutrena Ride the Pattern clinics are just a few of the events the Ford Youth World has to offer.
