The statistics for the Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity Yearling Stakes Sale are in! Alan Parker Auctions ran a wonderful sale, which followed a pig roast sponsored by Tom and Dom Powers and Equine Sports Medicine. Donations from the pig roast went to NSBA Trainers Crisis fund.
Of the 62 yearlings run through the sale, more than half of those consigned sold. Those not sold were repurchased to establish eligibility for next year’s Stakes Class. There will be a $50,000 guaranteed payback or MORE for the 2014 stakes class! The 2013 Stakes Class had 17 entries, with Open and Limited divisions run concurrently.

The sale average was $9,700.00, with the high seller going for $85,000- No Doubt Im Trouble (No Doubt Im Lazy), sold to Rusty Green.
We can’t wait for next year’s Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity, and see which one of these talented yearlings comes back as a talented two year old to win!
