The Arabian Horse Association show has finished up, and a representative said they they experienced more numbers this year than last year: about 215 horses compared to last year’s 160. The Appaloosa Horse Association show also is complete, as well as the AQHA Youth show. Today marks the Youth Team Tournament, as well as some of the first Signature Classes: Non Pro Trail and 3 & 4 Year Old Trail Signature classes both are going on in Trail Town. The AQHA Open/Amateur show began at 8:00 this morning, and runs through tomorrow.

This evening marks the first events in the new Reichert Pleasure Series: The Three Year Old Non Pro Western Pleasure and Open Senior Western Pleasure. The brainchild of JR Reichert, the new eight class series is designed to “give everyone a chance to play” and limits how much money or World/Congress titles the individual competing has won.
