“Project Cowboy was created to find ‘America’s Next Great Horseman,’ and the competition not only tests the participants’ horsemanship ability but also their camera presence and ability to think on their feet,” stated Project Cowboy producer Patti Colbert. “We narrowed the fields so the format will be more like ‘The Bachelor’ or ‘Survivor’ which is intriguing and entertaining television.

“The American Quarter Horse Association has been a great partner in promoting Project Cowboy and making the television series a reality,” Colbert continued. “The opportunity to share real stories of everyday horsemen and horsewomen will connect with viewers.”
