Parties, Prelims and Finals: A full day of activities highlights the start of Bank of America Amateur Week.

The 2012 AQHA World Championship Show really got going November 5 as the first full week of competition began.

The day featured a full slate of amateur activities, including preliminary competition in amateur hunter under saddle, amateur hunt seat equitation, amateur western pleasure and amateur pleasure driving in the Jim Norick Arena.

Across the street in the Performance Arena, exhibitors in amateur and open team penning and ranch sorting saddled up to work their cattle…
