Crundwell Online Auction Brings in $1,641,200
The first phase of the US v. Rita Crundwell auction was held online by Professional Auction Services, September 11-12, with lots closing at 7:00 pm last night. High seller was I Execute Class at $226,000. The 2008 bay mare is a five time World Champion mare. Gross totals for both days came to $1,641,200, and the average sale price was $20,515.
Other notable sellers were Pizzazzy Lady, a 2005 Sorrel Mare and 5 time World Champion halter mare, bringing in $126,000, and IE Copy, a 2005 Bay Gelding – World Champion & High Point Hunter Under Saddle, sold for $101,000.

“The whole thing was exciting!” Jennings commented. “We’re pretty sure this is the best online horse auction that’s ever been held.” With an average sale price of $20,500, the staff at Professional Auction Services was very pleased with the results.
“It was a huge thrill to sit and watch it unfold,” said Jennings. “Bids were coming in from all over the world – from Austria to Australia.” The online auction generated an extremely high level of interest, and may well be setting the tone for the marketplace.
