Redbud Crime Spree Help Needed! Terri Ward reported that Scott Munz with the OKC Fairgrounds requested any knowledge of the offenders be reported ASAP. The city of OKC, the fairgrounds as well as Mr. Munz are taking this problem very seriously and they need your help with specific details, not hearsay, but firsthand information. He would like to be contacted concerning the following incidents they are monitoring. If you have any descriptions, names, phone numbers, etc. please call Mr. Munz. He is waiting to hear from you. We cannot get this matter resolved until people are willing to step up and take action. Other security problems will be addressed but at this time he needs info on the following: 1. "The Hobby Horse Clothing Co. warehouse in Chino, CA was robbed late
on May 22/early May 23rd, 2009. Thieves made off with approximately
$250,000 worth of chaps and show tops. More than 300 pairs of our popular
PMS split leather chaps were stolen; they had been delivered from our
customs broker less than 12 hours earlier. No attempt was made to enter
our offices; no computers or electronic equipment in the warehouse was
taken. The thieves appeared to only be after our chaps and more expensive
garments. My employees and my company are jeopardized by this robbery;
we lost inventory, including Limited Edition garments that cannot be
replaced that would provide the cash flow to continue our business operations.
We will survive, but this is a serious setback. I am asking for the
help of horse community members in advising me by email if they come across ANY strange offers on Hobby

RE: Cleve Well's Ruling: The Executive Committee decided Wednesday 4/22/09 to suspend Cleve for one year and they are making him pay a $10,000 fine regarding the allegations of abuse to Slow Lopin Scotch. He will also have to show cause for reinstatement when the term is over. (and even if he does show cause, he will be placed on indefinite probation). sad morning over this great loss. Affectionately known as 'Stanley',
this 7-time World Champion Sire, leaves a legacy of 531 foals; 263 performers,
193 point earners with all divisions combined accumulated 14,055 points
to date. His offspring's NSBA earnings total over $271,972. Stanley
himself was the '94 AQHA Congress Junior All-Around Champion. He had
6 Superiors, including: W.Pleasure, W.Riding, Trail, Hunter Hack, Working
Hunter and HUS; earning 500 points in 8 events. A true show horse -

for the quarter horse industry with a huge audience on hand to see some

Kentucky Quarter Horse Association Breeders' Incentive Fund Payouts
Announced for Show/Race Points Earned during 2007 Award dollars, number
of winners, and points by eligible horses all up! (08/04/08) - The most
successful state breeder's incentive program of the last 25 years, the
Kentucky QHA Breeders' Incentive Fund (KyQHA BIF), has released the
payouts resulting from points earned in showing and racing from the
most recently completed competition year (2007). "A total of $446,629,
up 21% from the 2006 total of $368,942, will be awarded to many more
horses, breeders, foal nominators, sire owners, and sire nominators
than last year," reported Norman Luba, KyQHA BIF Committee Chairman.

We were VERY impressed by the sweet families participating with all
their children by their side, and the low stress of the competitors
in an All-Novice Event. Several exhibitors were in the arena for the
first time (but you wouldnt know it by their quality of Horse!) they
were riding some FINE horses - and they were having a ball! I loved
the whole atmosphere. The AQHA Introductory/Open show Sunday was a complete
success, in my opinion. 'Kudos' to the AQHA, and 'Thank you' to the
