Kratos was born 6 weeks early, he was unable to stand or sit up for the first 2 days of life, the only thing he could do was suck a baby bottle. He was given plasma transfusions and many antibodies for days. He was able to stand on his own and take a few steps by day 3. We milked his mother every hour and he was bottle fed around the clock till 2 weeks of age until he was reunited with his mother. He had the will and fight to live and he did just that. Today he is as strong as any other foal his age and just as playful and happy.  He just thinks he is more human than horse.  I lived in my barn by his side for a total of 15 days caring for him. He’s one in a million.
