It’s officially Congress time!  The All American Quarter Horse Congress kicked off last week, and with the excitement, stallion owners and managers are offering some of the best deals of the season for 2016 breedings.  It’s never too early to plan ahead for a “date” for your mares, so we wanted to give you the rundown of specials being offered during the Congress (some you don’t even have to actually be at the Congress to book!)

Gumz Farms- Book your breeding between October 5-25 and receive $250 off the lowest qualifying price.  They will be located in Booth 606 in Congress Hall to visit them in person and learn more about their amazing lineup of stallions: These Irons Are Hot, No Doubt I’m Lazy, It’s a Southern Thing, Keeping It Good, Gonna Wanna Watchit, and Its All About Blue.

Cooper Quarter Horses- Cooper Quarter Horses will be located at Booth 705 in Congress Hall with some great specials on 2016 breedings along with lots of fun giveaways.  They will be offering 2016 breedings at discounts for all of their stallions: Don’t Skip Zip, Potential Career, Hes Berry Blazin, The Lopin Machine, Custom Invitation, and Don’t Zip Me Up.

North Farm/Leeman Farms- North Farm is very excited and proud to continue standing their phenomenal lineup from 2015 along with new additions from Leeman Farm, How Bout This Cowboy and Willy Be Invited.  They will be offering reduced breeding specials for the month of October.  Only the booking fee is due at the time the breeding is booked and the remainder of the breeding fee is charged next year when you are ready to breed your mare.  The booking fee already paid is deducted from the total breeding fee. 

  • LAZY LOPER – $2100.00 by 10/31/15. Regular fee, $2500.00
  • HOW BOUT THIS COWBOY – $1200.00 by 10/31/15. Regular fee, $1500.00
  • WINNIES WILLY – $1000.00by 10/31/15. Regular Fee, $1200.00
  • THE BEST MARTINI – $1300.00 by 10/31/15. Regular Fee, $1800.00
  • LOPIN LAZY – $1200.00 by 11/30/15. Regular Fee, $1500.00
  • WILLY BE INVITED – $1300.00 by 10/31/15 (includes 1st FX). Regular Fee, $1500.00.

An Eligible Bachelor– This flashy buckskin hunt seat stallion has a $500 breeding special for the month of October.  For $250 booking fee (due at time of booking) and the remaining $250 stud fee due anytime before breeding.

Full Medal Jacket- An early booking discount will be offered to those who book and pay in full by October 31st to Full Medal Jacket.  With a regular stud fee of $1,000, the special will be $750.  On top of that, each mare booked for this special will be entered into a drawing for a FREE 2016 breeding, and just pay the chute/booking fee of $250 and shipping $225 Fed Ex or $300 air.

VS Flatline– Those looking to book to this beautiful son of the legendary Vital Signs Are Good can enjoy a $500 discount off the regular $3,000 fee (includes chute fee).

VS Code Red– Not being left out of his brother’s Congress special, VS Code Red will also be offering $500 off his regular stud fee of $2,500 for those who book during the month of October.  These will be the only two specials offered for VS Flatline and VS Code Red!

Good Machinery– If you want a 2017 foal by this awesome son of A Good Machine, you can enjoy $150 off the regular stud fee of $800. 

Bradac Ranch South– Kerry Bradac will be offering great specials on two of her amazing stallions, Open For Suggestion and Hot Diggity Joe.  For the month of October, Hot Diggity Joe’s stud fee will only be $1,250 (plus shipping), while you can book a date with Open For Suggestion for $1,850 (plus shipping).

Zipped Cash- While this great special ends October 15, and is nearly booked to capacity, those lucky ones can enjoy a buy one breeding, get one free special.

Pilot Knob Quarter Horses- While we haven’t heard of any specific breeding specials, be sure to stop by and visit Pilot Knob Quarter Horses at booth 504 in Congress Hall to learn more about their great stallions, The Krymsun Kruzer, Diesel Only, and The Rock.
